World Poetry Day is celebrated on March 21 every year. It was published by UNESCO in 1999 to promote the reading, writing and teaching of poetry worldwide. This special day reminds us how poetry connects people across cultures, languages ​​and generations.Poems are one of the oldest forms of literature. 

It allows people to express their feelings, thoughts and experiences in creative and meaningful ways. Through rhyme, imagery, etc., poets can capture deep emotions like love, sadness, happiness, hope in just a few words. Short poems as well as long poems have the power to move hearts.

World Poetry Day encourages young writers to create their own creations. Schools, libraries and communities often organize poetry readings, competitions and workshops to celebrate this day and it's a great opportunity for students to improve their language skills and creativity.

In today's fast-paced world, poetry helps us slow down and reflect. It teaches us to appreciate the beauty of words and the importance of self-expression. By celebrating World Poetry Day, we keep the tradition of poetry alive and ensure that future generations continue to enjoy and create this timeless art.
