Very quickly, this genre of music spread across the globe. In both Sri Lanka and other countries, it has gained significant popularity among DJs, music producers, and fans.

Techno is not just a music genre — it is considered a culture, a movement, and a form of free expression.

On this day, fans, music creators, and artists around the world come together to celebrate the heritage and growth of techno music. Live performances, DJ sessions, and various events on social media also take place as part of the celebrations.

Moreover, instruments such as drum machines, synthesizers, and digital music software played a revolutionary role in the creation and evolution of techno music.
