World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
World day for road traffic victims (WDOR) is observed every year on the third Sunday of November. This year, it falls on 16 November. It is a day dedicated to paying tribute to the millions of people who have lost their lives or been seriously injured as a result of road accidents. The day also recognizes the tireless efforts of emergency services, medical teams, police officers and others who work every day to minimize the consequences of road accidents.
